The largest city in the Moravian-Silesian region and the third largest city in the Czech Republic. It is possible to visit here the lower part of Vitkovice (a national cultural monument of industrial architecture), the Ostrava zoo, Landek Park museum of coal mining technology or many other interesting sites.
